Though it may not boast majestic mountains like its neighbor Stanley, small-town McCall Idaho draws a decent crowd year round with scenic Payette Lake and quaint shops. ย This crowd multiplies drastically for McCall’s annual winter carnival, featuring vendors, live music, and (most importantly) incredible snow sculptures. ย Here’s a sampling of the scene from when I attended the carnival last weekend (and, as always, keep an eye out for part II!).
