Late autumn still provided a gorgeous carpet of fallen leaves for this great family’s session by the Boise River in Eagle last November – favorites below as always!
Last year’s winter was so brutal that by the time late February rolled around, the shores of the Boise River were already starting to flood, leading to some interesting shooting conditions on Grant’s senior session in Eagle!ย Fortunately we found some not-as-soggy areas on the bike path and got some warm smiles on a chilly day anyway.ย Favorites below!

Most of my photoshoot referral stories come from past clients, friends, or the internet. ย This one came from a chance meeting at Kirkham Hot Springs over Labor Day weekend last year! ย I was thrilled when these guys remembered our conversation about photography and asked me to take their family portraits a couple months later, catching Cottonwood Creek at the Military Reserve Park on a foggy but colorful October morning. ย Those late autumn golds are unbeatable! ย Favorites below:
