An overcast October morning didn’t cut down the fun I had with Boise High senior Jesse last autumn in the least! From tossing leaves around Kathryn Albertson Park to balancing on precarious ledges in the Linen District to a few family photos overlooking that classic Boise skyline view from Depot Hill, we all had a blast. I love love love when seniors choose an unusual location or bring a prop or include a unique skill in their sessions…and Karissa managed to do all three! We had a ton of fun at Quinn’s Pond for her September photoshoot (still plenty warm enough to go splashing in the river), culminating in an amazing paddleboard headstand to top off the whole thing. Horseshoe Bend senior Brittney braved a frosty October morning at the MK Nature Center and Old Idaho Penitentiary last year for her senior photos, and while things were just a little chilly at the start, as soon as that sun hit us, the photos started to look glorious…and it helped warm everyone up, which is always a plus! December means family reunions over the holidays and the best of times to schedule family portraits, except for the weather that comes along with the season! Good thing the interior of the capitol building is free and open to the public…and beautiful with all that white marble and those cheery poinsettia decorations!
