Towering mountains, shimmering wildflowers, magical clouds, and stately deer – what more could you want? Olympic National Park in Washington has it all! I think I was snapping at least one shot every thirty seconds during my visit there in August, it was so gloriously beautiful, but here are a few of my favorites.
Just before the sun disappears below the horizon, everything is soaked in glorious, radiant warm light. Despite it being a tiny window, it’s still my favorite time of day to shoot. But combine raindrops from the day’s storms with that pre-sunset light and you get something truly magical.
A safari sounds like a whole lot of fun. A safari also sounds like a whole lot of money. And since something has gone horribly wrong if we see poison dart frogs and tigers roaming the streets of Idaho, there was only one logical place to go when I felt like paying a visit to some exotic animals: Zoo Boise.
