The banks of the Boise River in Eagle flooded this spring, but by late summer there was no trace of the high waters, only a beautiful grove of trees perfect for a portrait session. ย I shot these photos of Centennial senior Darian there in early September – isn’t he photogenic?
Summer at Alice Lake

Alice Lake is one of the most gorgeous bodies of water in the Sawtooth Wilderness I’ve visited so far – enough to do the 12-mile hike twice this year! ย Keep an eye out for a collection of autumn photos from Alice Lake later, and in the meantime enjoy this set. ย (If you’re interested in doing the hike yourself, check out the Idaho Statesman article.)
