The many colors of downtown Boise with quirky graffiti, funky staircases, and textures galore provided a vibrant backdrop for Hana’s November senior session – favorites below!
Idaho weather can throw anything at you some days, so when the early November storm clouds decided to throw snowflakes rather than the expected rain showers at us during Lucas’s senior session at Cottonwood Creek, all we could do was roll with the punches and lean into the new development with some fun family photos gazing up at the snow! Fortunately the snow cleared up for some beautifully dramatic light toward the end of the session, too :) Favorites from this sunlit snowy photoshoot below!
I’m convinced little Miss Olivia is going to grow up to become a famous rock climber, she’s so fond of climbing everything in sight – a handful at our photoshoot at Kathryn Albertson Park in November! She certainly kept her mom Jennie and me running after her with that adventurous spirit. Highlights from this adorable kiddo’s session with her mom below!
Part of me always jumps for joy anytime someone suggests a portrait location I haven’t shot at before, and when Trevor and his mom requested the section of the foothills trail system above Castle Rock for his senior portraits, I was thrilled to combine hiking and photography (my two great loves!). After some meandering around downtown along the Greenbelt to catch the fall colors, we drove up into the hills in hopes of some beautiful sunset light overlooking Table Rock and the Treasure Valley, and the weather gods did not disappoint. Highlights from Trevor’s session below!
The fall foliage was starting to reach its last legs on the November evening we scheduled for this family’s session, but fortunately the leaves last long enough along the river in Eagle to still pick out some patches of vibrant color. Favorites from their photoshoot below, and check out Ryan’s individual portraits from his senior session earlier that year here!
