The Military Reserve Park is one of my very favorite portrait locations in Boise, and the combination of sunlit forests and golden fields worked perfectly with 2016 senior Michael’s red hair. Favorites below!
Senior session season got off to a rolicking good start for the Class of 2016 with Devon’s photoshoot at the Old Idaho Penitentiary! The gardens and architecture were a great backdrop for him to play acoustic guitar, and the foothills just above the historic buildings provided a gorgeous out-in-the-field alternative look. Favorites below, and look for much more from the 2016 seniors soon – we’ve only just begun!
When I returned to Boise at the end of April after a few weeks out of town, it was a wonderful change to see everything suddenly leafed out and green – a far cry from when I’d left and now perfect conditions for portraits! Eagle 2015 senior Daniel got to cash in on the gorgeous conditions with his early May session by the river outside Merrill Park. Check out some favorites from his photoshoot below!
Who says senior photos can’t be done in winter? We shot Brad’s session down by the river in Eagle in early December after November’s surprise snowstorm had all melted. Even with the bare trees, sometimes all you need is good light and a great smile to make it work. Take a look at a few of my favorites below!
I love when seniors find a way to incorporate their interests into photoshoots! Eagle 2015 senior Paul was a double threat with both his tuba and cross-country uniform, and of course we opted for some traditional looks down by the river in Eagle as well with the last of the autumn leaves. Good thing we scheduled when we did, too: a week later, the whole valley was covered in snow. Highlights below!
