A beautiful evening at the Boise Depot with its combination of elegant architecture and gorgeous gardens always makes for a great senior photoshoot! Highlights from Ben’s spring session after the break:
When Gage and his mom suggested a beautiful rustic barn in Star he worked at for an internship as the setting for his senior photos, I was delighted – a new place to shoot with so much to explore and weathered rustic textures to die for? Sign me up! It showed on Gage’s face just how much he loved that setting too, perfect for bringing out that joyful smile. Highlights from his spring senior session below!
I’m always encouraging my models to come prepared with a few different looks we can work with and match to our surroundings, and Caden knocked it out of the park with his wardrobe choices – a couple casual but chic looks to pair with downtown Boise’s grittier areas, and a formal suit that made the most sense to shoot against the elegance of the capitol building, but, unexpectedly, was even more fun combined with the urban flare of an alley off 9th. Highlights from his early spring photoshoot below!
Many teens and their parents may not immediately think of their schools when it comes to ideas for senior portrait locations, but for Bishop Kelly senior Connor, BK provided a wonderful variety of backdrops, from the funky boxcar on campus to the abandoned trains across the road, and of course the baseball diamond and bleachers for a few pro-athlete-style shots at the end of the day. A carpet of beautiful autumn leaves and picture-perfect reflection in the calm waters of the Boise River – who said mid-November is too late for a portrait session? Highlights from Matteus’s senior photoshoot by the river in Eagle below!
