Last year’s winter was so brutal that by the time late February rolled around, the shores of the Boise River were already starting to flood, leading to some interesting shooting conditions on Grant’s senior session in Eagle! Fortunately we found some not-as-soggy areas on the bike path and got some warm smiles on a chilly day anyway. Favorites below!
When the weather gets nasty, we turn to indoor possibilities for portrait sessions, such as the Boise Depot for Ryan’s senior session this January! Fortunately the building’s beautiful old architecture provides plenty of options for staying warm (including the vintage bricks of the bell tower), and also fortunately, Ryan was a brave model willing to take on the freezing temperatures for a few shots in the snow too. With the crazy number of photos I shoot, it’s hard enough choosing favorites from each session never mind all-time highlights! Why not rope the parents in for a senior/family combination session since everyone’s already there?
