City of Rocks National Reserve, Idaho
Of all the natural wonders that Idaho has to offer, City of Rocks National Reserve might be the oddest. ย It really does resemble a town constructed of rocks, with massive boulders scattered amid the hills not far from Idaho’s southern border with Utah. ย Smoky skies from nearby summer wildfires didn’t make my own trip the best for photos, but it’s worth a visit! ย A recommendation, though: use the park’s eastern entrance outside Almo rather than the western one south of Oakley unless you’re aching for an extremely slow and bumpy dirt road journey. ย Enjoy!
