Sure, it’s a bit breezy in Boise this April, but still, what a beautiful time of year. Blossoms and flowers all over town – it’s stunning! Here’s what I see when I walk outside these days.
With summer almost upon us, let’s take a look back to slightly cooler days of spring when blossoms covered Boise – apple, weeping cherry, thundercloud plum, magnolia, and more. Want more springtime goodness? Head in the direction of the tulip/daffodil entry!
The world is in color again! That can only mean one thing. Well, actually it could mean several things when it comes to photography, but in this case it means it’s time for a flower showcase of spring’s colors, starting with the vivid tulips and daffodils that have sprung up everywhere! Blossom photos are coming soon, too, so keep an eye out.
Autumn colors are starting to feel like a distant memory, the trees are close to bare, and the ground is littered with brown and battered crunchy leaves. With snowflakes and icicles still a ways off for those of us in Boise, is there anything interesting to photograph during this transitional period? Of course! The scenery may be somber, but that doesn’t mean it can’t also be beautiful.
