Hannah brought some serious modeling skills to her October session at Kathryn Albertson Park last year – I was almost getting a glamorous ScarJo vibe, she pulled it off so well! Favorites after the break.
What fun getting to shoot at an entirely new location (for me, at least): Centennial High’s beautiful performing arts center. Katie and I had a great time pulling off a fun theatrical look making good use of the stage lights, and also enjoyed getting out of the rain that had hit us earlier by the river in Eagle (not before we’d captured a good assortment of autumn portraits with the golden foliage, fortunately). The downsides to on-location photoshoots is that sometimes the weather throws some unexpected obstacles our way! Keera’s session started out with rain showers a lot steadier than expected, leading us on an adventure through Kathryn Albertson Park trying to find the most sheltered areas for her, but with the help of a cute umbrella and the weather gods giving us a break about half an hour into the session, we made do! And by the time we got to the Boise Depot for the second half of her senior photos, the rain had cleared entirely and even gave us a beautiful backdrop of fresh snow on the foothills. The still waters of the Boise River in Eagle make for one of my favorite portrait backdrops in the valley, and Ben was a fantastic model for the setting – favorites from his senior session last October below!
Kathryn Albertson Park was in full autumn swing for Kendrick’s morning senior session last October – we even got the sun to join us by the end of his session, which helped with the short-sleeve shivering!
