Abby brought a bunch of adorable outfits and an infectious smile to her senior session last summer downtown, which for me is always a winning combination! Take a look at some highlights below from one of my favorite downtown location loops around the Anne Frank Memorial, Boise Greenbelt, 8th Street, and Julia Davis Park!
I’ve worked with beautiful model Tawnee three times now and had a blast with each photoshoot. Her lovely naturally red curls steal the show, and this time she brought a stunning formal gown that proved once and for all redheads can indeed rock red clothes, case closed. I loved working with 2014 senior Leanne so much! Despite sporadic rain showers and 5th of November protests during her session, we had a blast pairing her bright red coat with the last of the autumn foliage and throwing leaves around…and I was thrilled when I saw she brought along a copy of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice as a prop (the same copy I have, in fact). Live in Boise for a while and you’ll probably become familiar with the controversy surrounding the unpaved, no-bikes-allowed section of the Greenbelt west of Glenwood. Regardless of how you feel about the issue, though, one thing’s for sure: the lack of bike traffic for the time being (and most foot traffic, for that matter!) makes it a stellar hidden gem of a location for photoshoots! Beautiful model Nicolette and I hit the path last spring for a lovely sunlit evening session with glimmering trees, rustic fences, the rushing river, and of course this gorgeous girl and her perfect outfits. Two-hour senior sessions are so much fun! Not only do we have a relaxed photoshoot with the potential for a ton of different outfit options, but we can also fit in multiple locations. For beautiful 2014 senior Melanie, we started off in Municipal Park with the lovely boardwalks and paths of the neighboring MK Nature Center, meandered down the Greenbelt for a few photos by the Boise River, and even had time to drive over to the Old Idaho Penitentiary for some late evening shots at the picturesque Bishop’s House.
