How can you say no to more photos from the most beautiful country on earth? Enjoy this latest batch…and if you’re not sure why New Zealand is now a Project, yes, there’s a story behind it (and more photos). Read all about it here, and check back soon for more.

The Emerald Lakes - just one of the surreal sights along the Tongariro Alpine Crossing on the North Island, one of New Zealand's Great Walks. You can just make out the person in the photo to get a sense of scale.

A frolicking dolphin in the Bay of Islands, just offshore from Paihia on the North Island
Left: Everyone knows how much I love Photoshop, but this one is for real, shot along the coast between Dunedin and Christchurch, South Island – Right: If you’ve seen X-Men Origins: Wolverine, you’ll remember a certain waterfall. I’m sad to say that this is that waterfall. (Milford Sound, South Island)

The surreal Moeraki Boulders, one of the South Island's strangest albeit fascinating tourist attractions

The most spectacular sunset ever, looking down on the Southern Alps and town of Kaikoura

The South Island's Wanaka in May. Why the orange leaves? Well, it IS the southern hemisphere...

The Remarkables range and Lake Wakatipu, surrounding beautiful Queenstown in the South Island. Remarkable, isn't it?
Left: Dunedin’s famous railway station – Right: You can’t beat this sign
A bunch of portraits are on the way, so keep an eye out!

These are amazing… so vivid. But why did you wait so long to put them online? You went to New Zealand like two years ago~
Well, I originally posted all my NZ photos on facebook as I took them, two years ago as you said. But the originals were really crap quality, and since I have more time / editing know-how now, I thought I’d try to do New Zealand justice and re-edit my best shots to look like what I actually saw rather than what my camera originally captured :) That’s why it’s “Project New Zealand” and not just “New Zealand.”
