While faces are fascinating, there’s something to be said for still lifes. ย And when those still lifes involve contrasting textures, undulating fabric, bright colors, and an amusing juxtaposition of red, white, and blue flags, the results are just too much fun. ย Here are a few images from the just-for-kicks session I held a couple months ago:

Does this image lose something without keeping some semblance of the natural colors? Or does it make it more cohesive?

I’m guessing they’re miniature, but my only basis for this is how the texture appears in the photos.
